Smooth & Creamy Delicious Oven-Smothered Cheese Sauce!

From the Kitchen:

What you will need:

  • 1 saucepan with lid

  • 1 whisk or wooden spoon for stirring.


Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons butter cubed

  • 4 tablespoons flour, sifted

  • 1 cup cream, milk, or dairy substitute

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, your sauce color depends on the color of the cheese you choose for your sauce.


For Spicy Sauce:

  • 1 can tomatoes with green chilis drained


Steps:

  1. Melt your butter in your saucepan on medium-low.

  2. Add you sifted flour and let the flour combine with butter, stirring occasionally. It is done when its smooth and light brown.

  3. Next add your milk and cheese to your saucepan and combine. Cover for 2-3 minutes until your mixture begins to bubble. Stir until combined and Enjoy!

  4. If you want to add some extra spice, drain a can of tomatoes with green chilis and add it your sauce once the sauce is finished.

  5. Pour your cheesy sauce over your burritos or tacos and Enjoy!
